Our goal is to provide five (5)scholarships to individuals, and organizations who are supporting young people during the first year of (2019). And increase this number by two each year thereafter until we reach the maximum of twenty-five (25) per year. We are asking you to partner with us by making a monthly
$ 10.00 donation or a one time yearly gift of
$ 120.00.

Toward this end, we have decided to financially support the Pharmacy Department of Chicago State University. The Tie That Binds Ministries Inc will award three (3) P2 level students each $1500.00 scholarships in the Fall 2020. The scholarships may be renewable for Fall 2020 and Fall 2021 by the recipient. The James Barrett Sr. Memorial Scholarship
Applicant must have a GPA of 3.0 or higher and comes from a single parent household. Scholarship is renewable.
The Dr. Debra Harper Brown and Family Academic Research Scholarship
Applicant must have a GPA of 3.5 and must be in field of research in the study of Alzheimer and Dementia and
must be willing to serve our local community. Scholarship is renewable.
The Tie That Binds Academic Scholarship
Applicant must have GPA of 2.5 or higher and be willing to give back to the community. Scholarship is renewable.
Applicants must write a one- page essay on one of the following topics:
Where do you see yourself in the next five (5) years?
What does giving back mean to you?
Applications must be returned by October 1, 2020
